What Our Visitors Say

Delighted to find this little gem in Cahersiveen!
Well set out and lots of information about Daniel O'Connell and other local history. Very friendly staff who took the time to chat and a lovely cup of tea also! Wouldn't have known about the ring forts in the area only we stopped here. Great place to visit!

Frances

This was a great museum to explore and discover the local history, as well as how this part of Ireland impacted the rest of Ireland the British Empire and international history. Spend a bit of time here to get a full understanding.

Loved this little gem of a museum, with just the right amount of information to give an historical insight into Daniel O'Connell, the barracks building itself and Cahersiveen.
