Fantastic little place just stepping back in time. We have been twice now and really enjoyed both of our visits.

The course is called Dingle Golf Links, but everyone refers to the piece of land — the area where it is — as Ceann Sibéal. On arrival it is rather unassuming and looks like a low-key local course. The staff was wonderful, as if you were a personal guest of theirs. I had asked for a caddie, but because of a tournament already in progress there were none. To make it up to me they offered a self-propelled pushcart at no additional charge. The club rentals also came with five golf balls, tees, ball markers, and a divot repair tool. Very thoughtful. This is a true links course — not a tree to be found anywhere, but plenty of trouble in the form of tall grass, short thick grass, and a manmade burn which winds throughout the course and is seemingly present on every hole. It has steep stone walls, so if you go in, you're three feet below grade. As it happened I was sent out solo. I was fortunate to have a warm, calm day — none of the crazy winds or freezing Atlantic air you read about. The course is glorious: plenty of elevation changes, a fair amount of carry required both off the tee and to the green, and challenging greens. Play that day was slow because I was taking up the rear of the previously mentioned tournament. That was fine with me, as I didn't want this day to end. The scenery, right on the Atlantic Ocean and nestled in some small mountains, is absolutely gorgeous. Clouds roll in and hover at eye level and then move off like wildlife. You realize out here that there are an infinite number of shades of green! I would play this course again, and it would be an excellent place to bring a group, as there appears to be housing options in this area.

Visited the folk park with my sons and grandchildren and we loved reminiscing at some of the old farm machinery which my father used in the 50s and 60s.My grandchildren loved it and we're interested in how those machines worked .The receptionist was very informative and welcoming.

We had an absolutely terrific time on our Ireland tour this past August! It was wonderful to have daily options tailored to our specific preferences and some free time so we could experience the trip at our own pace. Also, every hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly located within walking distance of local shops, restaurants, and pubs. We highly recommend this tour company to anyone looking for an authentic, stress-free, and memorable Irish adventure!

We were on Sunday for a family fun day at Sligo Folk Park. It was a great place to be. For children there were many interesting games, pony riding, art and craft. There was live music in the park. They cooked barbeques on the street. I liked it very much

My girlfriend and I did a surf lesson with Bundoran Surf Co and had a great time! Our instructor Santiago was very patient with us and we got from absolute beginners to being able to catch waves and pop up within our two hour session. Would definitely recommend for first time surfers!

Great place to ramble around for an hour or two. Very interesting history of local people and places and a good insight as to how we lived in days gone by.

A great wee find to break up a day 😊 The two ladies on reception where so kind and very informative- You can tell they have a great passion for the folk park. We went with our 2 year old. The park was stroller friendly and even had a sensory garden, which he loved.. He also loved the fairy garden. Cannot wait to visit again 😊
